Backstory

I was sorted into Slytherin after quite a long pause from the Sorting Hat. I was sorted into Slytherin due to my ambitious and stubbornness. I am also extremely opinionated and out-spoken. My favorite classes are potions due to my love of science and Care of Magikal Creatures because I have an affinity for caring and communicating with nonhumans. My least favorite class is History of Magic, I fall asleep and get detention for it often. I also dislike Muggle Studies because it’s boring, but I do well in it because of my Hufflepuffs. I am a pureblood which has served me well, especially as I’m a Slytherin. I don’t look down on half-bloods and actually have two best friends in Hufflepuff who are muggle born. My greatest strength is potions and spells. My weakest is knowing when to walk away from a fight and when it’s okay to show the weakest to back down and admit defeat. After I graduate this year, I want to be either an auror or a healer. I use magic mainly to help myself and strive for my future, but I will always look out for my Hufflepuffs. I have had a crush on Draco Malfoy since 3rd year. I just want to save him from himself and be the one person to tell him he is loved and deserves better. My pet is a black cat named Onyx who acts like a monster when others are around but always sleeps curled up on my chest at night. Other people are terrified of him and don’t understand why I keep him. Onyx is nice to the two Hufflepuffs that live with me over the summer as well, but only when no other people are around. My family and I adopted two muggle-born Hufflepuff’s whom I have no known relation to (except I’m related to one very, very distantly, but we don’t figure that out until later). My parents are from different houses; my mom is a Slytherin and my dad is a Ravenclaw. They actually go really well together because he is incredibly smart and she is fierce and protective. My favorite smell is a mix of pine and snow, so I spend a lot of times in forests during the winter. My favorite thing to do in free time is read, even though I’ll never admit that to anyone else. I think I get it from my dad. I spend most of my nights trailing after my Hufflepuffs trying to keep them out of trouble. The Hufflepuffs spend all holidays with me and we spend a lot of time down by the lake on my family’s estate. I also apparate us all to Diagon Alley and Hogsmead often. I got quite lucky with my situation and take full advantage of it often. I am also very protective of my Hufflepuffs, especially considering their terrible upbringing.
