Lucille Midwood

Backstory

My name is Lucille, but you can call me Lucy or Luca. I am just starting out at Hogwarts and I am finding it rather hard to settle in. I can't find a group that will accept me as a friend. Usually I will spend my time in the Ravenclaw Common Room (if i can answer the riddle at all) reading a book or charting the stars. I cannot wait to take Care Of Magical Creatures in my future, but because I am just a first year I think my favourite subject is astronomy.

I grew up on the outskirts of a small town in Western Australia. My father was always working on the tractor, tending the cows, herding sheep etc. My mother preferred to care for the gardens and loved to cook. I didn't discover my magical abilities until I was nine years old, when I accidentally made a batch of cupcakes explode when I was mad. I never had trouble finding friends in my town because everyone knows that in small town in WA, the people are rather odd. The smaller the town, the weirder it gets. In my town we had a tree with knitted patterns all over it, a fence with socks nailed to it and one crazy old lady by the name of Belinda... I think she must have been a witch too, because she was always yabbering on about how her house elves would break her things.

I love Hogwarts, its subjects and the professors. All I need now is a group of friends.
