Amalthea Moonstone

Backstory

Amalthea Moonstone knew she was magic from when she was little, and discovered she could talk to and see strange creatures and regular ones as well. Her parents were graduated from Hogwarts and told her all about the school, and how she will go one day. They gave her their old books to read from, and she studied them up until the faithful day she received her Hogwarts acceptance letter at the age of ten. Before school she was gifted a large fluffy black cat that she named Ash, and she speaks full conversations with him (although other students without the gift to talk to animals just hear meows coming from Ash). The day she was going to be sorted, she knew it would be Ravenclaw, just as both parents were before her. The sorting hat barely even touched her head as he announced "Ravenclaw!" When Amalthea is not in class, you can find her in the library reading/studying books and quietly talking to Ash, who follows her everywhere (even to classes).
