Aubrey's mother is a witch, she was a Curse Breaker, and she was known for her intelligence in potions and charms. Her mother's name was Jayne who was a talented witch who fell in love with Aubrey's father, Henry, a muggle farmer. In order to keep the Ministry from interfering with her marriage Aubrey's mother hid her powers from Henry- until Aubrey was born; that was when Aubrey's mother knew that she had given birth to a powerful witch (if you ask any magical parent they will tell you they could sense their child's power at birth). ~~~
With a young witch in the house it was hard to hide the uncommon occurrences that occurred in the household as Aubrey aged. When Aubrey was born her mother had to go in front of the ministry in order to legalize and keep her marriage with Aubrey's fathers' since she had hidden it there could be consequences. Such as her being exiled, her families memory wiped and her practice of magic taken away as well. Although she had disobeyed the ministry's strict rules about muggle interaction she was not punished or accused any further of any crime. Instead, Henry was allowed to be aware of the Wizarding World as long as he does not put its existence at risk. With that privileged Aubrey was able to grow up on a farm of not only with mundane creatures, but fantastic beasts as well (since they were her fathers favorite once he became aware) he would spend hours in the day taking her all over their incredibly large acres of land and introduce her to each creature as he taught her to care for them. As Aubrey grew up she could be found with a book in her face and wandering the grounds of her house looking for specimen and collections of herb, fungi or any other substance(s) that could be used in a potion.
When her Hogwarts letter arrived Aubrey was ecstatic, she ran around the house waving the piece of paper around as if it was a million dollars. She had already read most of the texts books, which were now graffitied with her scribbles and notes on almost each and every page. The day that Aubrey was even happier on was than the day she got her acceptance letter to Hogwarts was her first day to Hogwarts- which meant only one thing, her first visit to Diagon Alley; and of course Ollivanders Wand Shop which she received her first and only wand - Larch, Pixie Hair, 11 inches. The feeling she had when she touched that wand and closed her eyes- she felt as if she could take on the world and nothing she tried she would fail at.
During her School Year:
Aubrey excelled in all her main subjects; which were Potions, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Magical Creatures and Herbology. However every other Class she had to work hard in order to keep an Outstanding. She wanted to be a Potions Master. It combined her two favorite subjects Herbology and Potions of course.
