Backstory

When I first received my Hogwarts letter, I was really surprised, my dad was as well. My dad is a muggle while my mom is a witch but I was never raised knowing what magic was, so naturally I had no idea what Hogwarts was! Luckily enough my mother was able to explain to me and my dad what Hogwarts was, and was very excited that I was able to get in. Unfortunately my dad was a bit reluctant to let me go but eventually my mom convinced him. I was sorted in to Hufflepuff and I'm very happy about that! Everyone I've met have been really nice so far. My first and second year weren't that eventful, but now that I'm in my third year I'm going to change that! But I've also made a promise to my parents that I would focus on my studies, so I'll have to figure out a way to balance everything out.
