Backstory

My OCs:

Full name: Oscar Smith
Gender: male
House: Ravenclaw
Blood status: muggle-born
Wand: 11 1/4 inches, dragon heartstring, beech wood, unyielding
Patronus: swan
Appearance: Oscar is very neat and tidy boy. He has a dark auburn hair and baby blue eyes. He is rather thin and a bit shorter than average.
Personality: very smart, curious, a bit selfish and egocentric. Oscar isn’t really social person and prefers to spent his time alone with his books. He may look calm at first, but he is so touchy, that he can be hurt by a single word.

Oscar Smith is a muggle-born wizard. He wanted to be a scientist and explore the universe until he got a letter from Hogwarts. He thought that it was a prank and didn’t believe it. However, Oscar has no siblings and his parents are very strict muggle scientists who don’t believe in magic and all that stuff. But who would prank him, then?
Oscar didn’t believe in magic even when him and his family were shopping at the Diagon Alley. Later, he understood that all of that was real and decided to learn everything about the new world he had just discovered. He read all of the Hogwarts school books before the end of the summer.
The Sorting Hat had problems sorting Oscar. His ambition and desire to be the best almost sorted him in Slytherin, but his wit and urge to know everything prevailed and he got sorted in Ravenclaw.
His favourite subject is the Defence Against the Dark Arts. However, he thinks that the students don’t get enough information about the dark arts at Hogwarts. In future, he wants to be a professor and he studies really hard for it.

Full name: Grace Macmillan
House: Hufflepuff
Blood status: pure-blood
Wand: 13 inches, cypress wood, unicorn tail hair, flexible
Patronus: phoenix
Appearance: Grace has wavy blonde hair, freckles and green eyes. She is a girl of an average height and she’s a bit chubby.
Personality: She is very nice and polite to everyone. Unlike her father, Ernie Macmillan, Grace doesn’t like jumping to conclusions. She’s always laughing and joking and some people might think that she’s stupid because of it. However, Grace is a pretty clever girl even though she doesn’t want to show it.

Grace wasn’t surprised when she got her letter. She is a pure-blood, after all. However, she was a bit arrogant and made fun of the muggle-borns when she was a younger student. Her parents didn’t like that at all, considering that most of the Macmillans were Hufflepuffs or Gryffindors and that her father liked studying muggles. But she changed when her family realised that her younger brother was a Squib the whole time. After that, Grace became nicer and less arrogant.
Despite Grace’s prejudices at her younger age, she is quite a true Hufflepuff. She is a very hard-working, honest and kind person. Although, Grace is rather impatient and too loud.
Her favourite subject is Care for Magical Creatures.

Full name: Sana Ann
House: Slytherin
Blood status: half-blood
Wand: 12 1/2 inches, ash wood, phoenix feather core, hard flexibility
Patronus: blackbird
Appearance: Sana has olive skin, dark brown hair and black eyes. She has a freckled face and large round glasses which slip off often. She has an average body type. Sana also gets told off often because of her messiness.
Personality: She’s a bit shy with strangers but tries to be funny and energetic with her friends. Some people find her rather annoying which is also true. Sana always speaks her mind and sometimes gets in troubles because of it. She tries to look more confident but that doesn’t always work.

Sana’s mother’s a muggle and her father is a pure-blood wizard. All of wizards from her bloodline attended the Durmstrang Institute and only a few of them attended Koldovstoretz school. And that’s why she was quite surprised when she got her letter from Hogwarts. Her grandfather, a pure-blood wizard, was disappointed that Sana wasn’t admitted at Durmstrang unlike her older brother. Her grandparents from father’s side always compared her to her brother and held him as an example to her. That’s why Sana was glad that she will spend her school years at Hogwarts.
Sana wasn’t expecting to be sorted in Slytherin, but she was proud of it. She had some problems with making friends, though.
Her favourite subjects are Defence Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration. She’s quite clever girl, but however, she often runs out of motivation, which is probably why she isn’t a Ravenclaw.
