News of the day
Happy Lunar New Year! Today is, according to the Lunar calendar, the last day of 2023. "It is time to say the final goodbye with [2023]." said a Hogwarts student The Hogwarts Daily interviewed, "It was depressing enough to say goodbye once, on the normal calendar. Now is like loosing 2023 all over again."
Professor are frantic about the "bed situation" for the coming night. "We are deeply afraid that some or most students would spend the night awake, waiting 2023 out." Said one professor, "We are hereby prohibiting spending tomorrow night awake on purpose." An annoyed Hufflepuff said, "They should just make the Lunar New Year a holiday. This is so unfair. We cannot even bid 2023 a final goodbye."
The Hogwarts Daily is back on track again after a hasty holiday! Look forward to the new columns - "Special Holidays" that might just pop up!
Special Question of the day
Hello! What are you doing for your Lunar New Year holidays? Owl Elizabeth Wonders to answer the question!
Answer(s) to yesterday's Special Question
-
Special Holidays
Let's talk about New Year resolutions! You may have already made them more than a month ago, but now is the perfect time to re-think them. Have you already forgotten them?
If yes:
- Remember them at once
- Tell a friend or relative about your resolution(s)
- Tell them how important it is that they remind you your resolution(s)
- Don't be ashamed of yourself that you have already forgotten your resolutions after a month, most people do!
If no:
- Well done! You did what most people can't. According to studies, 23% of people quit their resolution(s) by the end of the first week, and 43% quit by the end of January.
- Celebrate for yourself for completing such hard work!
- Stop celebrating and write down your resolutions anyway. You will forget them eventually. Only 8 to 9% people stick to their resolutions until the end of the year.
If you haven't made resolution(s) yet:
- Begin thinking, it is not as hard as you think
- Take advantage of the Lunar New Year as an excuse to make your resolution(s)
- Have trouble coming up with some? Think about 2023 - what part of you should you improve? Or, is there a wish you want to fullfill?
- Write your resolution(s) down and in them to the wall
Hope it helps you! Happy Lunar New Year!
