Secondhand Lions
- My rating: ★★★★½ (4.5/5 stars)

This wonderful coming-of-age story follows a young boy, Walter, during the time he spends living with his two very eccentric uncles. Whether they're shooting at door-to-door salesmen, trying their hand at gardening, or purchasing secondhand lions, life with Uncle Hub and Uncle Garth is never boring. Plus, there's that story that Uncle Garth tells about their past adventures - a story that sounds too outlandish to possibly be true... or is it?

Dealing with themes like what it means to be a man, the importance of living life to the fullest, and the value of family and loyalty, Secondhand Lions is funny, heartfelt, and overall a delight to watch. The acting is top-notch, with Michael Caine and Robert Duvall perfectly cast as the two cantankerous uncles, and the story itself is beautifully crafted. Whether you're a kid on the verge of growing up, an elderly person dealing with the realities of old age, or somewhere in the middle, this movie has something for you.

Ocean's Eleven - My rating: ★★★★★ (5/5 stars)

This movie is smart, funny, fast-paced, jam-packed with talented actors, and definitely one of my top five favorite movies of all time. When Danny Ocean gets out of prison, he only has one goal in mind - pulling off what might possibly be the most impossible heist ever. But with the right team, his crazy plan might just work. Enter the best con-men, hackers, explosive experts, and wheelmen in the business, each recruited to play a crucial role in an immensely complicated heist.

The main cast is full of faces you'll recognize, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts, and the all-star cast is complemented by a perfect script. With fast-paced, witty dialogue and a plot that's full of intriguing twists and turns, Ocean's Eleven is one of the best heist movies out there, and from the opening scene to the closing moments, I love it all. It's got humor, heart, and a ridiculously complex heist at the center of everything, so make sure you don't miss a second of this exhilarating ride.
