Backstory

I grew up a muggle, an American muggle to boot! My parents knew of wizards, my father being a squib, but they never told me until I got my acceptance letter. Admittedly, I got a late start and was quite unhappy with having to leave my dreams to be a wizard. I enrolled in what would have been my sophomore year of high school and was teased mercilessly. Luckily, I picked it up fast and studied hard. It might sound weird, but I admit, all the wizarding courses were loads more fun than Geometry. I often got in trouble for things like listening to music, but I got Bluetooth headphones and ignored them. I didn't have a magical animal, but I brought my pet bunny from home. I also could see the thestrals, though when everyone asked why, I didn't know, but I realized I had killed countless bugs and I'm an overthinker. Anyway, I'm currently studying to be an apprentice wandmaker! I have some really cool design ideas, though I'm not sure I can gather the ingredients I need for the magical part...
