Backstory
When I was a baby, my parents died. Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange died before they could instil their evilness onto me. I was raised by muggle borns. I love my adoptive family. I'm so glad, I wasn't raised by my biological parents. When I got my letter, my parents had to explain to me why my letter said Lyla Lestrange and not Lyla Keran. I wasn't too upset but I wondered what else they were keeping from me. When the time came to get sorted, I was jittery and nervous. I was afraid that the Sorting hat would place me in Slytherin because I was a Lestrange and not because of my personality. But it didn't. I was placed in Slytherin because I embodied a Slytherin. The Sorting Hat told me that my parentage wasn't a deciding factor. I was glad. I wonder what my year will look like.
