Backstory

The Hat asked me why I wanted Ravenclaw and I said so I can become smarter than others and have a leg up in the world, and I was almost put in Slytherin for that comment, but Ravenclaw was right for me. I like potions and want to be an Auror or Healer after graduation. I hate History of Magic, but I take Arithmancy as an elective and I really like it. I am a half-blood, or something in between that and pure-blood, but my family cares more about success and prestige than lineage. I am fascinated by the creation of spells and how they work, as well as the different parts of potions. I own an owl named Berani and a cat named Sisco. Berani is a fast flyer but she is greedy and a little pudgy, and Sisco is a bit spoiled. My family is vey large, and my father came from a formerly prestigious line of pure-bloods that have since fallen out of traditional ways. My mother comes from a very mixed family, muggles and magic-folk from many parts of northern Europe are part of her blood line. My family thinks it is despicable that I should want to be a healer instead of part of the Department of Magical Law, but I can ignore them and find other conversations to bring up over Christmas dinner.
