It's important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it becomes rigid and stale.

Backstory
Throughout my life, I've always considered myself an outsider. I would rather stay inside during recess and read a book or talk to my teacher instead of playing on the playground with my classmates. It did not help that I was an American living in England. But along with that, sometimes, very rarely, strange things would happen around me such as a vase that I had broken fixing all by itself before my parents could find out. So when I discovered I was a witch I finally felt liked I belonged somewhere, that I wasn't a strange girl who loved fiction more than reality. Although, I'll miss my family, I extremely excited and anxious to see what Hogwarts has to offer and all the new information I'll learn.
