Backstory
Magic hasn't had a lot of influence in my childhood, though my mother was a hufflepuff herself in her day. After her school years, she became a waitress and met my father within just a few years. My father is a Muggle cabinetmaker, and since his brief introduction to our world he has been enamored by, well, the magic of it. Now that I have my chance, I want to learn to love Hogwarts and the Wizarding World so that I can share it with my father. I am particularly excited to discover the mysteries of wandlore, especially when I recieved my 9 3/4" red oak and unicorn hair wand. Its probably no surprise that the magical properties of wood appeals to me, and I feel every tree can be as unique as each witch and wizard. Though I have to admit, I had no idea my love of wandlore had anything to do with herbology! I guess I still have a lot to learn :)
