Backstory
Half-Blood Hufflepuff here.Wand: Holly wood with a Phoenix feather core 11" and Unbending flexibility

I wasn't very surprised that I was sorted into Hufflepuff. I have always been pretty shy. I never had many friends and was always self-conscious. What did surprise me was that the hat wasn't sure about me. The hat thought I was smart enough for Ravenclaw, brave enough for Gryffindor (surprisingly), and also well fit for Hufflepuff. I am half-blood. I was not aware of my magical origin until the day I got my letter. It was then that my dad explained the magical world to me and my mother. I'm so happy to be at Hogwarts. It's been a dream come true because I got a new start, and I get to learn magic. So far my favorite class either has to be Astronomy or Potions. I came to Hogwarts not knowing anyone, just having my barn owl, Starlight. Cheesy name, I know. I'm just kind of a cheesy person. Well, I'm kind of rambling, I should go. I can't wait to spend the next 7 years of my life at Hogwarts.
