Backstory
When my acceptance letter to Hogwarts came, Father had to do a lot of explaining. Turns out he was a squib! Mother was very confused and hurt. The argument that followed was not pretty. Ultimately, Father took me to Diagon Alley alone. I was amazed! I had always had a love of fantasy, but now to find out that magic was REAL! I looked at everything, eager to prove my worth. I was fascinated most by the apothecary and couldn't wait to try my hand at potions. I wasn't sure exactly how things would change, or of where my place would be in this new magical world...but I was determined to prove my worth.
