Backstory
I grew up in a mixed family my father was a wizard and my mother was a muggle. Dispite being the oldest of their brood of 6 children they had a hatefilled marriage and my homelife was a mess. When i was offered a place in Hogwarts at age 11 i had to decline and taught myself instead. My father had left that summer and my mother needed all the help she could get with my siblings. 4 years passed and my mother remarried, with my middle brother just getting his letter for Hogwarts and accepting i applied as well. Due to the fact i was self taught there was quite a bit of testing to see what year i would fit into, apparently i was where i would have been if i had begun there in the first place. So they settled me as a 5th year and i was placed...as a Hufflepuff and my little brother a Slytherin.
