Backstory
I couldn’t wait to attend Hogwarts ever since my father told my mother and I he was a wizard. At first we thought he was joking because he’s a practical joker but after he took out his wand and turned my feather pillow into a duck we started to believe. He told us because he believed I would be accepted into the prestigious school and wanted to make sure we were prepared for it as I was all ready to attend our local state school. Looking back I should’ve realised there was something different about me. Mum always used to tell her friends I was an escape artist because when I was only a toddler I managed to unlock the back door to get to the garden, even though she made sure to lock it. Truth was I magically opened the door but at the time mum couldn’t understand how I did it. I am super excited to see the castle and make new friends and hopefully rock the classes. I have already started reading my textbooks in preparation.
