Backstory

I was sitting at home reading my school books when there was a tapping at my window I happened to look up and seen an owl sitting on the ledge with a letter in it's beak. I went over to the window and opened the window reached out for the letter in the owl's beak. As soon as it was in my hand the owl flew off. I opened the letter to be surprised at my acceptance to Hogwarts. At first I thought I was dreaming. So I pinched myself. Was not dreaming. I went downstairs to my father and showed him the letter. He was happy that I got accepted and explained that I was a witch. I had no Idea that my family was full of witches and wizards my parents kept it secret for years. They wanted me to have a normal childhood. It did explain things though. Why when I got mad at my brother his hair caught on fire, why the window suddenly turned to water. just to name a few.
