Backstory
The sorting hat placed me in Gryffindor, despite a fairly long hatstall. My mum was in Hufflepuff, so I think that's why it had a hard time with me. My dad's a muggle though, so I'm a half-blood. They never kept anything a secret from me and I was always hoping I'd get my Hogwarts letter when I turned 11. I've been so excited to come to Hogwarts all my life, and I can't wait to start taking classes. I was always worried about getting homesick though, but I hope I'm so busy with classes and clubs that I won't mind. My mum let me bring my cat Holden to Hogwarts so at least I'll have him. I can't wait to start taking classes!
