Welcome to Hogwart’s First Annual Egg Hunt! The professors have hidden 15 eggs in various places around the castle for you to find. Some are easy and some are difficult, but all eggs are in places anyone can find! Can you find them all?

Rules and Scoring

As soon as you find an egg, you must take a screenshot of it and be sure to submit it to the Egg Basket as soon as you can - you get bonus points for finding an egg before anyone else! Do NOT share the location of any eggs with anyone else; let’s keep the event fun and fair for all!

You may submit more than one egg screenshot at a time or you may submit each one individually as you find them. However, if you match an egg up with the incorrect clue, you will not get credit, so be careful!

Please note that Eggs #2, 5, 10, and 14 require an additional screenshot of their respective puzzles completed.

If you are the first to find the egg, you get three event points. The second person to find it gets two event points. Every person after gets one event point. You can keep up with everyone’s point totals on the Scoresheet (please be patient in waiting for updates).

This event will run from April 5 - April 19.

The Hints

Ready to get hunting? Here are your hints for each egg!

1. Your very first egg to find is closer than you think. You won't need your Inner Eye for this one; just look to where announcements are made.

2. Are we thinking outside the box or looking inside it?

3. This Charming little egg is hiding in a year unwritten.

4. You can find this brave egg with the leader of the Lions.

5. Can you put the pieces together to find this egg?

6. Help is always given to those who… join this club.

7. If you crane your head over to the sunny side of the castle, you might see some etchings on the wall near this egg…

8. Looking for more eggs? If you were cunning, you might steal an egg from the Leader. He’s got too many anyway…

9. As I have foreseen, this Runic egg is hiding in Year 3.

10. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3, A, B, C! (Just kidding… a bit harder than that.)

11. Now, is it a raven or an eagle? Maybe you should ask the Head of House.

12. You’ll have to go on an adventure to find this egg!

13.  Whether you need help turning a fork to a quill or turning a Boggart into something laughable…you’ll find this egg near the PA who can guide you through either.
