Backstory
Magic was never something I believed in—not really. Sure, I read fantasy books and watched movies where the impossible became real, but none of it prepared me for the day an owl dropped a letter on my kitchen table, nearly knocking over my mum’s cup of tea.
It was addressed to me.
My parents thought it was a joke at first. A prank. Some elaborate hoax. But the letter was persistent. Then, a woman from the school—a real witch—came to explain things. Hogwarts. Magic. A whole other world just waiting for me.
I expected my parents to be thrilled, to see the wonder in it like I did. Instead, they were… hesitant. Uncomfortable. Unsure. They didn’t like the idea of a wizard in the family. Magic made me different, and different wasn’t something they were ready for.
I tried not to let it get to me, but then something even stranger happened. My appearance started to shift. My hair, my face, even my height would change, depending on how I felt—or rather, depending on who I felt like. It was terrifying at first, watching my reflection morph without warning. Then I realized: I wasn’t just a wizard. I was a Metamorphmagus.
That was the moment everything clicked. I wasn’t just one person. I was many.
Discovering I was a system—a we instead of just an I—was overwhelming. Sometimes, the switches were subtle, just a shift in personality. Other times, they were dramatic—different ways of speaking, new memories surfacing, faces in the mirror I didn’t always recognize. And with every switch, my body followed suit.
If my parents were uneasy about magic, they were horrified by this.
They didn’t understand. How could they? I barely did. Controlling it was hard, sometimes impossible. The more distressed I was, the more wildly my appearance changed. My parents hated it. The stares, the uncertainty. The way I was never quite what they expected.
When it was finally time to leave for Hogwarts, I was relieved.
For the first time, I was surrounded by people like me. Other witches and wizards, other oddities and wonders. It didn’t matter that I came from a muggle family that didn’t want to understand me. Here, I could be myself—however that self looked at any given moment.
When the Sorting Hat was placed on my head, it didn't take long to decide.
"Hufflepuff!"
Warmth spread through my chest. I wasn’t sure what I’d expected, but as I joined my new house, greeted by bright smiles and open arms, I knew—this was home.
I made friends quickly. Good friends. People who didn’t just tolerate my differences, but celebrated them. They laughed when my hair changed mid-sentence, helped me when I struggled to stay grounded, and accepted me for everything I was.
My wand, an elm wood with a unicorn hair core, 11 ½ inches, unyielding, felt like an extension of myself—steady, persistent, resilient. And when I finally cast a Patronus, the bright silver shape of a robin burst from my wand, darting through the air like it was free.
For the first time, I didn’t feel like I had to apologize for who I was.
I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Warning: Very strict roleplay outlines and rules.
NO ONLINE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OC's ( System behind the account is married and 31 years old.)
No romantic rp (We do have a wife IRL and it feels weird. Also we are 31 and having a romantic rp with probably a minor feels wrong.)
No smut (Way too dangerous on that website with minors)
Outlines for a roleplay:
We are no fluff writers, so expect drama/ dark/ sad rps with us. We have no triggers and we can write about everything in detail Please tell us your limits (Hard and soft) (Hard: No mention at all Soft: can be mentioned but not in detail)
Mostly only MCU (Can also be AU but with MCU characters, like a zombie apocalypse or a Harry Potter AU but with MCU characters) but if you have an intriguing proposal we might be interested in.
No Mary Sue OCs
#cancelmarysue
(If we hear one more tragic backstory of an orphan that got adopted by *insert Avenger* and then reveals dark past, god-like powers blah blah blah) Please make your characters interesting.
We would prefer to rp with canon characters, but good, interesting OCs are welcome.
RP Rules:
Third-person
Past tense
Full sentences
No **
If we write a long starter, we want a long answer back. (Exareple: if we write like two and a half pages in docs with Times New Roman,12, we want min. 1 and a half back. There is no max. You can write ten pages if you want and we are okay with that.)
No one-sentence answers. Min. sentences as an answer are 10 to 20. There is no max.
If we do a long answer rp (long = multiple pages) then it might always take a bit of time to answer. For us and for you. Which we understand.
You do not control our character. Only we can do that, how he reacts to things and how he acts.
We know our rules and outlines seem strict but we know our worth as a roleplayer and we know that our writing is good. We prefer people who can keep up with it.
If we don’t write back for days/weeks/months then we are sorry but it probably doesn’t have anything to do with you. If our answers seem off and not fitting into our own rules, we are sorry again. We are a system with OSDD-1b and sometimes a different alter fronts and wants to write too.
