Backstory

Being a Slytherin does not degrade me as a human-being.

We are misunderstood, ambitious individuals...
Yet it does not mean that we are automatically entitled to the image that the lot of the wizarding world has grown to loathe us for:

...self-centred, egotistic... Death Eaters.
That hurts the most.


My family has done certain 'things' in the past.
No form of sympathy may forgive generations of my line for their inadequacy. Especially the most noted... Assisting the Dark Lord, himself.

I may not have a single drop of muggle blood flowing through my veins. I may not have grown up with fracas and violence.
But I know kindness and compassion. And I know that no matter what, family and friending come first.
Even my own self.


I'm Thalia Gerlie, a pureblood Slytherin.

And in behalf of my fellow Slytherins; if it's not too much, all we truly ask is to be a part of a world where we can freely roam without sneers and snarls.

Where we don't have to rely on each other to feel like we belong.
