Backstory
My character, Lydia Greene, was sorted into Slytherin house after the sorting hat taking almost ten minutes arguing with her. She both valued and portrayed the traits of an exemplary Hufflepuff, but also showed several of the Slytherin traits (quick, cunning, etc.) She enjoys Potions, Herbology, and DADA, and she is very good at them, but she isn't very good with animals (read: animals hate her guts) so that caused some problems during her second year, and when she attempted CMC in her third. She is half-blooded, a fact which she would regularly (and angrily) remind her peers . of when they called her a mudblood. She was in school during the Marauders era (the first wizarding war) and she became good friends with Lily Evans, and had a bit of a rivalry with Sirius Black for awhile. Her greatest strength is her ability to keep a level head during stressful situations (most of the time... she absolutely lost it when Sirius died) but her greatest weakness is that she's an obscurial (like Credence from FB) and she had a pretty difficult time controlling it until the end of her sixth year. During her sixth year, she also found out that her father was none other than Tom Marvolo Riddle, Lord Voldemort. She ran away from Hogwarts, but quickly returned after being attacked by death eaters and the Dark Lord himself. After that, she began spying on them and climbed the ranks in both the DE and PA because of connections to He-who-must-not-be-named, and position as a spy respectively. After Hogwarts, she married Sirius Black, whom she'd dated in her fifth year, and began working for the Ministry of magic as an Aurour, furthering her usefulness in the DE, but quit after Sirius was taken to Azkaban, and began teaching Arithmancy, which was another of her favorite subjects at school. Her family was always pretty messed up, her not caring at all about blood status (except when she was called a mudblood) but besides that, she considered her friends to be family, but that was it. Her mother died when she was just a few hours old, and her father hadn't wanted anything to do with her. She also had a cat named Nutter, but it died during the summer before her fifth year.
