My family is pure-blood through and through, although none of us ever were prejudiced against muggleborns. I am happy to make friends with any blood types. Both my parents and extended family attended Ilvermorny, so it came of no surprise that I was accepted there too. Now, my sister goes there. My family was also descended from the founders of Ilvermorny, who were Isolt Sayre and her family.
I was born in America, and attended the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Ilvermorny’s sorting ceremony consists of four large statues of the houses, which as Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, Wampus, and Pukwudgie. I was chosen by the Thunderbird and the Horned Serpent, and I chose Thunderbird. I achieved good grades, especially in Charms and Ancient Studies, and a few others, and started to work for MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), which is basically the American Ministry. My work for MACUSA had been when I acted as a double agent to help stop the forces of evil in America. Other assignments from MACUSA has been to help with the American Quidditch team (and sometimes are at the practices, playing as a chaser).
I have thick, curly black hair that can sometimes be hard to tame. I have dark eyes and brownish olive skin. At the moment, I have purple glasses that everyone says "suits me." You also always find me wearing my watch, since I am very time conscious and I like to always know the time. I usually wear my hair in a braid of some sort, whether it is in two braids, a french brain, or side braid. Sometimes I have a ribbon tied into the top or bottom, or threaded through the braid.
My assignment at the moment is worldly relations, and I was sent to Hogwarts to explore and to see how different it was from Ilvermorny and the rest of America. I was randomly placed into Gryffindor when I came here, because that was the only house that had an open dorm area. If I had attended Hogwarts, then I would have probably have been sorted into Slytherin.
My wand is made of Phoenix feather and rosewood, and have small carvings lining it, some look like the flower rose. Its handle is intricate, swirled, and beautiful. It only has a little bit of flexibility, and is mostly sturdy. It is 13.75 inches long.
I joined HiH in 2018, so I can answer basic questions about the site, like "how can I check out a book from the library," or "how do I make a backstory?” Feel free to post on my wall or send me an owl whenever you have a question. No question is “silly” when you are new to Hogwarts. I also have created several groups on HiH, like one about the magical world in America, a Creature Study Group, a book club, and writing club, and a few more. Feel free to join any of them! I also am in the midst of writing a few books in the library, so they will be published soon!
I discovered my Patronus last year, when we learned it in Ilvermorny. If you would like to know what my Patronus looks like, my profile picture is it and there is a picture of it at the end of my backstory! You guessed it! My Patronus is a Phoenix.
I have written many books in the HiH library, and if you would like to read them, here they are!
A Guide to Magical Creatures
An Anthology of 18th Century Charms
An Appraisal of Magical Education Around the World
How to Become an Auror
How to Make a Wand
Everything you need to know about the Patronus charm
Knitting: The Basics
And there are more to come! I will put them in my backstory when I am finished.
