Faye Kim

Backstory

Hullo there! The name's Faye Ria Kim, but you can also call me Ria (or Hooters, which I earned from my obsession with owls). My grandparents immigrated from South Korea to raise their Pureblood family in Witby, North Yorkshire. Starting with my father, this household has all been sorted into Gryffindor, including my cocky sister, Sierra. I however, was the black sheep and the Sorting Hat immediately shouted, “RAVENCLAW!” to everyone's surprise. I'm pleased to be in Ravenclaw though and it's been a wonderful year at Hogwarts so I'm excited to see what's in store for my second one. My favorite class is by far Herbology since my grandparents owned a farm and I inherited their green thumb—I hope to later grow my own healing herbs and plants for potions, and get work at St. Mungo's. Another passion of mine is animals and I have one brilliant Crup, Ena, who I miss dearly. My recently purchased pet is a beautiful Barn Owl names Ignatia, after the creator of Floo Powder. I find that Charms and DADA are difficult subjects, since my wand work is somewhat lacking. Anyway, I have a fiery temper, I'm very impatient, I try to be observant and considerate of other's feelings, and I do love to have a good laugh. I love reading anything I can get my hands on and finding any bit of interesting knowledge to store away in my memory. Fascinating facts, strange stories, and compelling histories are all some of my favourite things! I also love Quidditch and my favourite team is the Falmouth Falcons; but I don't play, being terrified of heights though commenting on the games is extremely fun! A few of my other dislikes include Dark Magic (it's terrifying!), bullies, public lavatories, and messes of any kind. Send me an owl if you wish to discuss anything! <3
