Moonray (Ray) Wunderlich

Backstory

I am a first year and was sorted into Ravenclaw, I suppose it’s because of my affinity for learning. I was definitely a hatstall, it took close to five minutes for the Sorting Hat to figure me out. I don’t really know why, I guess I could be a good Slytherin, maybe a Hufflepuff. My favorite classes are Astronomy, History of Magic, and Herbology. I like all classes but I guess my least favorite is charms, but I still do well in it. I’m a half-blood, and some pure bloods don’t like me for it but I could care less. I don’t need their approval. I guess my greatest strength is I have a solution for everything, including how to escape if you’ve been kidnapped. My greatest weakness is I would destroy the world to save a friend. After I finish school I want to travel the world and help people in need and study magical creatures. Everything about magic is fascinating but the most interesting thing to me is how we can do these things but we don’t know exactly how we got our ability. It has nothing to do with bloodline too. I just want to make the world a better place. I have a black cat with silver eyes named Luna but she didn’t come to Hogwarts with me. I have a Ural Owl named Celestia, she is very mischievous and is at Hogwarts with me. My family lives on Mingulay island in Scotland (we are the only family living on it, as it was abandoned by muggles, and they think it is uninhabited). My muggle father left us when I was three. He couldn’t handle living in the wizarding world. Now it’s just my mum and us (by that I mean her four children. My older brother (Alex) is a third year in Gryffindor, my identical twin who was born five minutes after me (Blu) is in Ravenclaw with me, and my younger sister (Kara) won’t be coming until next year. Mum was in Hufflepuff, and she’s really proud of all of us. The odd thing about my last name is that it is “whimsical” in German because Dad was from Germany. I am also a wolf animagus.
