Notes:
•I wrote an important message here to explain the difference between astronomy and astrology, which you can also see by scrolling a little ways on my wall.
•My apologies if I am a day or so late in responding to any messages. I'm a bit busier than usual but I will still definitely respond within a few days. If for some reason I don't, feel free to send a Howler :)

Here's my advice to you:
Go grab a book and read.
I take it you want to know more about me?
Well, let's start with the basics. My favorite color is green, my favorite animal is the chameleon, and I am currently trying to learn German and Latin. I also have an interest in Greek mythology, space, the tarot, and astrology (plus some other divination stuff, just not quite as much as these).
My name is Velinea Nite, but my friends call me Vel. I am currently in my third year here at Hogwarts, but I've done quite a few more advanced classes. My favorites are Divination and Astronomy, but Defense Against the Dark Arts and the history classes are really interesting too.
I admit, I'm a skilled procrastinator, but I still always get my work done on time - what can I say? I'm a perfectionist (depending on the circumstances).
You can probably catch me in the library or Astronomy Tower, reading and watching the stars. On weekends you might be able to find me flying out on the Quidditch pitch.
My favorite Muggle book is Scythe, by Neal Shusterman. It's amazing, even without magic. I most definitely recommend it. Ready Player One and its sequel are also very good. I'm always willing to hand out a list of some of the best books ever :)
I do have a couple of dislikes worth mentioning. I do not like chocolate, Lord of the Rings, most non-fiction, slow walkers, and my least favorite HP character is Hagrid. Don't act so surprised; he's just so... naive, maybe? There's just something about him I've never liked, no matter how many times I read the books.
I suppose that's about it. Feel free to say hi if you see me around! Also, if you ever have any questions about Astronomy, Divination, or site-wide things you haven't found answers to yet, I'd be happy to help.
