About Me
Hello, I am Sunny Crane, and I am a second year student. I hail from the American south, and I come from a family of magizoologists and magizookeepers. I am the fourth of five children, all magical. My parents, oldest brother, and sister are gryffindors, my other older brother and younger brother are slytherins, and I was sorted into ravenclaw. I hope to follow in my parents' footsteps and become a magizoologist myself, but I also have a passion for subjects related to history. My goal as a magizoologist is to try and tame creatures thought to be untameable. If you can't find me in the castle studying or playing sudoku, you can probably find me singing in the local jazz bar as a side job in the evenings. If you can't find me in either of those places, then I'm most certainly NOT in the Forbidden Forest attempting to tame a gytrash or six...
If you're visiting my dorm, you may notice that I have a white cat that seems to teleport, but don't be fooled! I have two white cats named Alphinaud (Al-fih-no) and Alisaie (Al-ih-say). They are shy but quite friendly (similarly to myself). Just be patient and they'll slowly come around. I also have two new additions to my dorm! Please say hello to my new jobberknolls Vox and Echo! They're still getting settled in, but I'm sure they'll warm up to their new home soon.
My Wand
Given my family's occupation, it should be no surprise that my wand is made of chestnut wood. When I received my wand, Mr. Ollivander explained to me that chestnut wands with a unicorn hair core and unyielding flexibility are drawn to wizards with strong convictions who care deeply about fairness and justice.
My Patronus
As we know, our patronus reflects our innermost personality. My patronus is a common wombat. The following can be said about a wizard with a wombat patronus: calm in crisis, patient in progress, and loves deeply and loyally, with care shown through acts of service and problem-solving.
My Animagus Form
One's animagus form is also partially determined by aspects of their personality, but not necessarily the same aspects that are demonstrated in their patronus. That is why my animagus form is a crow rather than a wombat. Those who morph into crows are said to be observant, sharp, and independent. All animagi also have an indentifying mark that transfers from their human form to their animal form. My identifying mark is a thin line of silver feathers across my right shoulder that correlates to a scar I have in the same place in my human form.
