Hey there, it's-a me, Mario! You're welcome to owl me or post on my wall to chat, but if you need help with your assignments, it's best to owl me or to message me on Discord, since I'd rather keep my conversations regarding the subjects private. I'm a Professor's Assistant for Transfiguration Y1 (since June 12th, 2025), Y2 (since October 17th, 2025) and Potions Y1 (since November 12th, 2025). I love this site and have done a lot of work in it in the last year, as proven by the fact that I'm in the rankings of the Ravenclaw dormitory.

I have been on and off in HiH since April 2020. This was an alt account that I didn't realize I had until around 2022, when I lost my original one. I tended to join in February, stay through March and then forget about HiH until the following year. Why always February? No idea.

I joined again in February 2025 (always under this same account), where I was warmly welcomed to the castle by Jean V. Ollivander and Evony Senoj. If I hadn't met them and discovered the Discordian Castle, my motivation would probably have faded like it always had. However, I have now been consistently on HiH for ten months :D

I enjoy mixing courses instead of doing them one at a time, though I must admit that sometimes in the finals I need to check the lessons a million times because there's way too much information in my brain. My favorite subjects are Potions and Transfiguration, though this changes every time I get a good result on a course, so I wouldn't trust myself on that.

I try not to do too much coursework to avoid burning myself out and leaving (which is known to happen to people in this site), but I'm consistent with my work and try to do one assignment a day. The House Points Competition is my way of keeping me active and tracking my progress compared to other people and, even if I don't place, I like to see how other people are doing.

I have finished every Y1 and Y2 course, and I've finished all cores and three electives in Y3, as well as one core and two electives in Y4. I have always wanted to see myself on the leaderboards: when I earned 900 points I went to check the Great Hall to see if I was there, only to discover that it wasn't updated and I would never see my name there. However, just when I made the top 12 in the dorm leaderboards (on January 28th, 2026), the Great Hall got updated after five years.

in early March, there was an update and old students got their points back. Now I need over 1,500 points to even show up, so that's depressing... But we can try, right? Goal for June 2027: top 10!

I have around 694 points from EC (points obtained from non-mandatory subjects) and 60 EC points (points that go over the usual 10 due to extra research or creativity). I have also been a scorer for the Hogwarts Countdown (August 2025) and Haunted Hogwarts (October 2025) events.
